چکیده
Abstract Active sites in Mo-based hydrotreating catalysts are produced by sulfidation. To achieve insights that may enable optimization of the catalysts, this process should be studied situ. Herein we present a comparative XAFS study where situ sulfidation Mo/δ-Al 2 O 3 and Ni/δ-Al is compared to δ-Al supported NiMo with different ratios. The also covers comparison Ni Mo using oxide supports as well conditions applied reactor. spectra confirms phase for all at beginning reaction their conversion sulfidized followed measurements. Furthermore, it found monometallic less readily than bimetallic ones, indicating importance Ni-Mo interactions catalyst activation. K-edge did not show any difference related support or pressure during reaction. spectra, however, more complete species when SiO used Al . Nevertheless, believed stronger prevent sintering which leads its stabilization. results contribute better understanding how parameters affect formation active production biofuel.

Bis(2-R-ind)ZrCl2 (R: H or phenyl) was supported on different types of silica by in situ impregnation method and used for ethylene polymerization. In this method, the step of catalyst loading on support was eliminated and common alkyl aluminum (triisobutylaluminum, TiBA) cocatalyst was used instead of expensive methyl aluminiumoxane (MAO) cocatalyst in the polymerization. The effect of surface ...

In this study, the performance of NiMo catalysts over an amorphous SiO2-Al2O3 and SO4-Al2O3 with various contents of H2SO4 was investigated for the n-hexadecane hydrocracking (n-C16) using a down flow fixed bed micro-reactor. The synthesized catalysts were characterized using BET, XRD, and NH...
متن کاملSilica-Supported Au–Ni Catalysts for the Dehydrogenation of Propane
Inspired by previous studies on model systems, a series of silica-supported Au–Ni catalysts were prepared and tested for the conversion of propane in the presence of hydrogen. The Au–Ni/SiO2 catalysts were prepared by successive impregnation, i.e. Ni was deposited first followed by Au. TEM/EDX results confirmed the presence of bimetallic Au–Ni nanoparticles. The dehydrogenation of propane to pr...

متن کاملIn Situ Vibrational Spectroscopy Studies of Supported Niobium Oxide Catalysts
The IR spectra of bulk Nb2O5‚nH2O and niobia supported on SiO2, Al2O3, ZrO2, and TiO2 were recorded in the fundamental and overtone NbdO regions, as well as in the hydroxyl region, to develop a better understanding of the structural models of surface NbOx species. The coincidence of the IR and Raman fundamental NbdO frequency in Nb2O5/Al2O3, Nb2O5/ZrO2, and Nb2O5/TiO2 provides the strongest evi...
